Position Overview: As an Assistant Store Manager, you will assist in the daily operation of the store, provide exceptional customer service, maintain inventories, and oversee store appearance. You will also support the Store Manager in various tasks including ordering merchandise, record keeping, and loss prevention.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greeting and assisting customers positively, resolving inquiries and concerns.
• Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean, well-stocked store.
• Supervising, training, and developing Store Associates under the Store Manager's guidance.
• Assisting with unloading merchandise, organizing stock, and transferring items to the store.
• Supporting in ordering merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Participating in loss prevention efforts.
• Taking on management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Adhering to all company policies and procedures.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to interpret operational directives.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly and meet physical demands of the job.
• Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Skills: Customer focus, organizational skills, communication, problem-solving, and relationship management.
