Overview Of The Assistant Manager, OMNI Operations Role

You will be driving incremental sales and ensuring profitability through the effective management of in‑store order fulfillment via Omni channels. You will support the management team in achieving goals by providing world‑class service, building relationships with guests, and maintaining store presence to ensure appropriate staff coverage.

Responsibilities

  • Lead customer fulfillment across all channels, leveraging services such as order pick up, outgoing shipment, unpaid hold management, home delivery, and installation.
  • Identify, execute, and maintain shipping in/out lanes in the stock room, utilizing pop‑up tables, carts, and baker’s racks as needed.
  • Ensure effective stock‑room organization and supplies to maximize efficiency, safety, and productivity for sales‑floor replenishment and omni‑fulfillment.
  • Perform regular audits and daily reconciliations (UPS, DIAR, markdown audit report) and establish daily disciplines to eliminate shrink (lost cartons, mis‑picks, MOS, returns, RTVs).
  • Champion all safety best practices, maintain and execute all safety binder requirements, host monthly safety meetings, ensure tools and resources are in working condition, and ensure associates complete ladder safety training.
  • Create a positive environment where all associates are treated fairly and with dignity in accordance with our people‑first philosophy.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
  • Superior critical‑thinking skills to creatively identify challenges and develop action plans in a timely manner.
  • Great time‑management skills and ability to execute multiple tasks and manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to independently lead self and others to achieve results.
  • 2‑3 years of retail sales or management experience in a customer‑service related field; omni‑channel fulfillment experience a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 lbs., using appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
  • Full‑time associates must have open availability to meet business needs.
  • Part‑time flex associates must be available for at least two scheduled weekend shifts (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday) and two weekdays (Monday‑Thursday). For 20+ hours/week, greater availability is required; weekend days must be separate.
