Assistant Store Manager

Overview

Support the Store Manager in daily operations, driving sales, ensuring exceptional customer service, and optimizing operational efficiency to achieve the store’s performance goals.

Take the lead at the center of where it all happens – our retail stores. With your retail knowledge and leadership abilities, you’ll help oversee store operations, manage and develop a team, and ensure AT&T customers experience our best‑in‑class services, entertainment and technology.

Responsibilities

• Assist a store manager in overseeing daily operations of a retail store.
• Help with merchandising and product launches and contribute to meeting and exceeding sales objectives.
• Deliver an extraordinary customer experience and support promotional activities, including off‑site events.
• Coach a team of retail sales consultants to meet sales and service goals.
• Perform outreach and promotional activities as requested.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Three or more years of sales and/or customer experience in telecommunications or a related industry.
• Prior management experience.
• Well‑developed planning, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Familiarity with wireless terminology, industry trends and AT&T mobility systems.
• Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders on initiatives beyond store walls.
• Strategic perspective and ability to champion change.
• Inspirational leadership that fosters high performance, collaboration, and teamwork.
• Professional expertise to solve problems and analyze issues.
• Initiative, drive results, and create outcomes.

Compensation

Annual salary ranging from $57,000 to $85,600, plus up to $18,000 in commissions when sales goals are met. Salary may vary by location, experience, expertise and training.
