Job Description

As an Assistant Store Manager (ASM), you will share responsibility for managing the store’s team members and the overall success of the store. Your duties include holding Sales Associates accountable for meeting sales goals by ensuring they provide friendly, enthusiastic customer service, maintaining strong product knowledge, and aiding customers and team members with in-depth information on product features and benefits. You will also oversee all store operations—opening and closing procedures, administering returns/store credit, special orders, and task delegation among Sales Associates.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of sales management, product sales, or customer service experience, ideally in a specialty retail setting.
  • Experience leading, coaching, mentoring, or teaching a team.
  • Proficiency with computers (MS Excel) and POS systems (RetailPro).
  • A self‑starter mentality that consistently delivers personalized retail excellence.
  • A willingness to learn and integrate with the riding community.
  • Motorcycle riding knowledge or interest is strongly desired but not required.
