MOLLY TEA is seeking a reliable and energetic Assistant Store Manager to support the daily operations of our Glendale location. This role works closely with the Store Manager to lead the team, maintain high service and product standards, and ensure smooth store operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in daily store operations and team management.


• Lead opening and closing shifts and ensure all operational procedures are followed.


• Supervise, coach, and support team members during shifts.


• Help train new employees on customer service, drink preparation, food safety, and store procedures.


• Maintain high standards of beverage quality, cleanliness, speed of service, and customer experience.


• Handle customer concerns professionally and help resolve service issues.


• Assist with employee scheduling, shift coverage, attendance, and daily task assignments.


• Monitor inventory levels, receive deliveries, and assist with stock counts and ordering.


• Support cash handling, register procedures, deposits, and end-of-day reconciliation.


• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, workplace safety, and company policies.


• Help achieve store sales, labor, waste, and operational performance goals.


• Step in to perform frontline duties, including beverage preparation, cashiering, restocking, and cleaning, when needed.

Qualifications

• At least 1–2 years of experience in a restaurant, café, beverage, retail, or hospitality environment preferred.


• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience strongly preferred.


• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.


• Reliable, responsible, and comfortable making decisions during a shift.


• Available to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, opening, and closing shifts.


• Able to stand for extended periods and perform the physical duties required in a food and beverage store.
