Role Description The Assistant Store Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Invicta Stores in El Paso, TX (The Outlet Shoppes at El Paso). This role supports the Store Manager in daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, visual merchandising, and ensuring that store standards are consistently maintained. The Assistant Store Manager helps lead the sales team, provides coaching and real-time feedback, and contributes to scheduling and task delegation to meet sales and service goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include engaging customers, overseeing the sales floor, handling escalated service issues, and promoting Invicta’s brand values through exceptional service and product knowledge. The role also assists with inventory management, retail loss prevention efforts, cash handling, and reporting to help drive store performance and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Customer-facing skills: ability to deliver strong Customer Service and maintain high Customer Satisfaction in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Communication and leadership skills: clear Communication abilities to guide team members, resolve issues, and interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
- Operational and supervisory skills: experience in Store Management or retail supervisory roles, including scheduling, delegation, and performance support.
- Loss prevention and compliance skills: familiarity with Retail Loss Prevention practices, cash handling procedures, and adherence to company policies.
- Additional qualifications: prior retail or fashion accessories experience; strong sales skills and comfort with meeting targets; basic computer and POS proficiency; ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as required; flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Education and experience: high school diploma or equivalent; previous assistant management or key-holder experience in retail is preferred but not required.
