Role Description
The Assistant Store Manager role at ALT. Fragrances is a full-time, on-site position based in Perimiter Mall, Dunwoody GA. This role supports the Store Manager in daily operations, including supervising staff, opening and closing procedures, and maintaining store presentation and merchandising standards. The Assistant Store Manager helps drive sales by coaching team members, monitoring performance, and ensuring a welcoming, knowledgeable customer experience on the sales floor. Responsibilities include handling customer inquiries and concerns, managing inventory, assisting with loss prevention efforts, and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. The role also contributes to scheduling, training, and fostering a collaborative, service-oriented store culture.
Qualifications
- Customer-focused skills, including Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with a commitment to delivering a positive in-store experience.
- Strong interpersonal and Communication abilities to engage customers and effectively support and guide store team members.
- Store Management experience, including supervising staff, overseeing daily operations, and supporting sales and merchandising initiatives.
- Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices to help safeguard inventory and maintain a secure store environment.
- Previous retail or specialty store experience, ideally in beauty, fragrance, or fashion.
- Proven ability to meet sales goals and KPIs while upholding brand standards.
- Organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and reliable follow-through.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in business, retail management, or a related field is an advantage.
