Assistant Manager

Location: Cascade, Iowa

Salary: $40K+/Year, Direct Hire

Schedule: Rotating day and night shifts, including weekends.

Job Summary:

The assistant manager will support the store manager in overseeing daily retail operations including customer service, staff supervision, inventory management, and operational efficiency. This is a full-time, direct hire position. The selected candidate will be hired directly by the company and be eligible for their benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the store manager with supervising daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient store performance.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure all team members uphold company standards.
• Support training and coaching of team members, ensuring expectations are clearly communicated.
• Help with scheduling staff to meet business needs, including day/night rotations and weekend coverage.
• Maintain inventory levels and ensure compliance with safety and sanitation practices.
• Contribute to achieving store sales and performance goals through strong customer engagement.
• Travel to other locations may be required at times.

Experience & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Retail and/or customer service experience required.
• Previous management or supervisory experience preferred but not required.
• Must be willing to learn, trainable, and motivated to grow into a leadership role.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Comfortable working varied shifts, including nights and weekends.
