Assistant Project ManagerWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support project execution in our Irvine office. The APM will play a key role in managing project documentation, maintaining schedules and budgets, and ensuring clear communication between the field and office teams. This is an ideal opportunity for someone ready to take the next step in their construction management career.What You'll Do:Assist Project Managers with the coordination and execution of ground-up and tenant improvement projectsManage and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and other project documentationCommunicate with subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure timely completion of deliverablesSupport the development and maintenance of project schedules and budgetsParticipate in OAC (Owner-Architect-Contractor) meetings and document key action itemsEnsure documentation is organized and up to date using project management software (Procore preferred)Coordinate closely with Superintendents to resolve field issues and maintain construction timelinesAssist with project closeout, punch list coordination, and turnover packagesWhat You'll Bring:2–5 years of construction experience in a project engineering or APM capacityBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferredFamiliarity with commercial construction methods, scheduling, and document controlStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsProficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Procore and Bluebeam is a plusAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsLocal to Irvine or willing to commute as neededWhat We'll Provide:Medical, Dental and Vision insurance in accordance with plan guidelines.Safeharbor 401K plan with quarterly company match.Up to 3 weeks of PTO per year.10 Paid Holidays per year.Company paid life insurance.Company bonus planAbout UsUprite Construction was established in 1991 as a multi-service construction company specializing in project site development, ground-up, new construction, renovations, and tenant improvements for the commercial and industrial sectors.
