Assistant Project ManagerBuild People is partnering with a leading, well-established General Contractor in South Florida to recruit an Assistant Project Manager with experience delivering high-rise construction projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a top-tier builder with a strong pipeline of landmark residential and mixed-use developments across Miami.The RoleAs an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of complex high-rise projects from preconstruction through close-out. You'll work closely with senior leadership, field teams, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in managing all phases of high-rise construction projectsSupport project budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reportingCoordinate subcontractor procurement, buyout, and contract administrationReview drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change ordersCollaborate with Superintendents to ensure alignment between field and officeHelp maintain project schedules and track key milestonesEnsure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirementsBuild strong relationships with clients, consultants, and trade partnersRequirements2-5 years' experience in construction project managementExperience working on high-rise residential or mixed-use projects preferredBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related fieldStrong understanding of construction processes, documentation, and sequencingProficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar toolsExcellent communication and organizational skillsDriven, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within a top GC environmentWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary + performance-based bonusClear progression path to Project ManagerExposure to large-scale, high-profile Miami developmentsCollaborative and growth-focused company cultureComprehensive benefits packageIf you're looking to take the next step in your construction management career with a leading GC delivering some of Miami's most exciting high-rise projects, we'd love to hear from you.
