Laredo, TX

Help Turn Project Plans Into Progress

Projects rarely stay on track by themselves. They need clear communication, organized information, regular follow-up, and someone making sure the next step is understood. We’re looking for an Assistant Project Manager to support project planning and coordination from our Laredo office. You’ll work closely with project managers and different teams to track priorities, organize information, monitor deadlines, and help keep projects moving from initial planning through completion.

This role would suit someone who enjoys coordinating people and details, solving practical problems, and taking responsibility for making sure tasks are followed through.

Day to Day

  • Support Project Managers with planning and coordinating active projects
  • Maintain project schedules, timelines, trackers, and task lists
  • Coordinate information between internal teams and project stakeholders
  • Follow up on outstanding actions, deadlines, and deliverables
  • Prepare project documents, reports, meeting materials, and status updates
  • Organize project meetings and record key actions and decisions
  • Monitor project progress and highlight delays or potential issues
  • Help coordinate requirements with clients, suppliers, and external partners
  • Keep project records, documentation, and communications organized
  • Assist with tracking project resources, expenses, and requirements
  • Help manage changes and communicate updates to relevant team members
  • Support project closeout, final documentation, and follow-up activities

What’s Important

You’ll need strong organizational skills, clear communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage several priorities at once.

Previous project coordination, administration, operations, business support, customer service, event coordination, or similar experience is useful. Experience supporting projects, maintaining schedules, preparing reports, or coordinating different teams is helpful, although training will be provided on our systems and processes.

We’re looking for someone who takes ownership of their responsibilities, follows through on commitments, communicates professionally, and is comfortable asking questions when something needs clarification.
