Assistant Project ManagerLocation: Covington, Ellenwood, Fayetteville, GA 6 month temp to hire Pay-$62,000-$74,000We have an opening for a dedicated and qualified Assistant Project Manager to support the successful delivery of complex electrical construction projects. In this role, you will work closely with the lead Project Manager to assist in the planning, execution, and completion of projects, ensuring high standards of quality and performance are met. This includes managing project schedules, budgets, resources, and personnel to ensure high-quality, timely, and safe project delivery.
The role involves coordinating with clients, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, and resolving technical issues as they arise. The Assistant PM will support the Lead PM in the following key responsibilities:Lead and manage electrical construction projects from inception to completionDevelop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocationSupervise and coordinate electrical teams, subcontractors, and vendorsEnsure compliance with all safety standards, codes, and regulationsPlan, develop, and track overall and short-term project task schedules to ensure productionConduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and qualityCommunicate project status to clients, stakeholders, and senior managementAddress and resolve any technical or logistical issues that may arise during constructionReview and approve work plans, change orders, and submittalsManage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environmentRequired:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Construction ManagementPreferred:1-2 years of experience in the field for electrical contracting or engineering. Commercial construction experience is also idealIn this role you will be working for a premier electrical contracting company. Projects range from $100-$200M in many submarkets of commercial and industrial project work.
