Assistant Project Manager – Land DevelopmentICI Homes is seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager – Land Development to support the planning, permitting, and execution of residential land development projects from concept through closeout. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to grow into greater responsibility over time.What You Will DoThis role offers exposure to large-scale residential community development and entitlement processes across multiple Florida markets. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will assist with the day-to-day management and oversight of land development projects at various stages, while partnering with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and local agencies to support project execution.This position works under the guidance of senior development leadership and provides valuable exposure to all phases of land development.Key responsibilities include:Assist with permitting and development projects, including coordination with consultants, contractors, and local governmentsSupport the creation and tracking of project budgets, schedules, and feasibility analysesSolicit, review, and evaluate bids and proposals from consultants and contractors; provide internal recommendationsAssist in monitoring project schedules, milestones, and goalsParticipate in Architecture Review Board (ARB) meetings to align planning, construction, and aesthetic objectivesHelp identify consultants and assess permitting, entitlement, scheduling, and material risksSupport oversight of the permitting and entitlement process, including attending key meetings with officials as neededAssist with construction bid, award, and contractor selection processesAttend construction meetings and visit job sites to evaluate progressManage invoices and track project expensesRepresent ICI Homes on Homeowner Association (HOA) and Community Development District (CDD) Boards as neededWhat We Are Looking For3–5 years of real estate land development experience, including at least 2 years in project management, real estate transactions, architecture/engineering, or infrastructure construction managementAbility to read, analyze, and interpret architectural and engineering plansStrong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and with community stakeholdersCommitment, tenacity, and accountability to help deliver projects on time and within budgetWillingness to travel to job sitesQuick learner with a desire to grow into increased leadership responsibilitiesExperience with Community Development Districts (CDD) is a plusWhy ICI HomesAt ICI Homes, we take pride in building exceptional communities while investing in the growth and development of our team members.
