Assistant Project Manager, ConstructionWe are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support our project management team in executing commercial tilt-up and ground-up construction projects. The ideal candidate is organized, eager to learn, and ready to grow into a leadership role in the construction industry.Key Responsibilities:Assist the Project Manager with coordination of all project phases from pre-construction through closeoutHelp manage project schedules, budgets, and documentationPrepare RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutesTrack materials, procurement, and subcontractor progressParticipate in project meetings and job site walkthroughsMaintain communication with internal teams, clients, and vendorsSupport safety compliance and quality assurance effortsEnsure timely delivery of project deliverables and updatesRequirements:2+ years of experience in commercial construction, preferably with ground-up and tilt-wall projectsStrong understanding of construction documents and processesProficient in Microsoft Office and construction software (Procore, Bluebeam preferred)Excellent organizational and communication skillsSelf-motivated and able to manage multiple prioritiesBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)Benefits:Competitive salary and performance bonusesHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid vacation and holidaysCareer advancement opportunities and mentorshipAbout UsUprite Construction was established in 1991 as a multi-service construction company specializing in project site development, ground-up, new construction, renovations, and tenant improvements for the commercial and industrial sectors.
