Assistant Project Manager (Bethlehem)

The Axel Group is partnering with a growing construction company that specializes in commercial and multifamily construction to find an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join its team. With plans to expand into a new Bethlehem, PA location, this is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team and contribute to projects from pre-construction through completion.

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in construction project coordination and is looking to take the next step in their career while gaining hands-on experience across all phases of construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate submittals, RFIs, and project documentation.
• Assist with project scheduling, material procurement, and tracking.
• Support Project Managers with subcontractor coordination, change orders, and financial documentation.
• Attend project meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and communicate project updates.
• Assist with site visits, safety compliance, and field coordination.
• Support project closeout, warranty documentation, and LEED requirements where applicable.

Qualifications:

• 2–3 years of experience in commercial construction, construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with RFIs, submittals, scheduling, and construction documentation.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• LEED experience or certification is a plus.
