Assistant Program DirectorOur client, a non profit organization that supports a permanent supportive housing residence for formerly homeless adults with mental health and co-occurring disorders, is seeking an Assistant Program Director. The services provided in the residence include case management, harm reduction, housing readiness, counseling, medical and psychiatric services, groups and recreation, and 24-hour 7 day a week front desk concierge.Position Purpose: To provide support and clinical supervision to case managers and other social service staff with the goal of excellent service provision and helping clients to remain stably housed in a supportive environment while optimizing tenant health and well-being.Essential Duties:Supervision of case management staffEnsure that all documentation (including, but not limited to, progress notes, service plans, health forms, reports, etc.) is completed by direct service staff in a timely manner and within established deadlines as per agency and funding sources standards; provide coaching on policies and clinical practice.Support evidence-based practice models including person centered planning, motivational interviewing, trauma informed care, harm reduction, and strengths-based approachEnsure collection, tracking, and analysis of data, with a results-oriented mindset.Provide weekly supervision to staff; promote staff development, evaluate their work and initiate disciplinary action when required;Participate in new client interviews, intakes and admission meetingsCoordinate client care with all onsite treatment providers, serve as liaison with medical and psychiatric staffAssist with audit preparation and performance improvement plans as neededAssist Program Director with daily program operations, serve as senior leader in Program Director's absenceInterface with various community agencies, funders and stakeholders relevant to our client populationCoordinate the scheduling of all contracted treatment providers and consultants.Collaborate with staff in other programs to coordinate client serviceWork with the Clinical Integration Team on the clinical best practices initiativeAttend staff meetings, case conferences, training programs and supervision meetingsParticipate in developing group curriculum and facilitate group activities as neededOther duties as requiredQualifications/ Skills/Educational Requirements:Master's Degree Preferred, Bachelor's Degree considered with significant experienceSupervisory and leadership experience requiredExperience in supportive housing a strong plusUnderstanding of homelessness, housing first, client centered approach, and harm reduction models preferredAbility to multi-task/work in a fast-paced environmentExcellent verbal, interpersonal, organizational, and written communications skillsAbility to work to collect, track, and analyze dataGood judgment and problem-solving skillsComputer literate (MS Office, AWARDS database-ability to learn and use, cloud based platforms such as Paycom)This job is presented to you by TemPositions Office, a division of the TemPositions Group of Companies.
