The Department of Orthopaedics, Division of Musculoskeletal Scienceat the University of Maryland School of Medicine is recruiting foran extramurally funded, full time investigator with expertise inmusculoskeletal biology.
Qualifications :
Candidates must have a PhD or MD from a recognized accrediteddomestic university (or foreign equivalent), The ideal candidatewill have a history of high-quality impactful research, federalfunding, peer reviewed publications & evidence of collaborationwith the ability to work well in a team setting.
Expected rank for this position will be Assistant Professor orhigher, however, final rank and tenure status will be commensuratewith selected candidate's experience.
Expected Salary Range: $100,000 to $200,000.
The referenced salary range reflects base pay, which is based onfaculty rank and years in rank. This salary range does not includeall components of the Departmental faculty compensation program orpay from participation in Departmental variable compensationprograms. Therefore, the actual compensation paid to the selectedcandidate may vary from the salary range stated herein. For moreinformation, please contact the hiring department.
The referenced salary range represents the minimum and maximumsalaries for this position and is based on the University ofMaryland School of Medicine's good faith belief at the time ofposting. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end ofthe salary range.
