Assistant Professor of Syntax - Relocation Allowance

The University of Chicago - Linguistics Department invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Syntax, with an expected start date of July 1, 2027, or as soon as possible thereafter. The successful candidate will pursue their own research agenda, collaborate with faculty in the department and university, and teach in both undergraduate and graduate programs.

The nine-month base pay range is $90,000–$120,000, with relocation allowance for qualifying expenses.
