Position Details

Effective Date: August 17, 2027 (Fall semester)

Salary Range: $6,221 to $13,224 per month (12 monthly payments). Anticipated hiring range $10,916 to $11,750 per month. Salary offered will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Required Qualifications

• Ph.D. or D.B.A. in Business, Management, or Strategy, with a concentration in Strategic Management or Organizational Theory; degree at time of application or official notification of completion by August 1, 2027.
• Demonstrated potential to effectively teach and engage in curriculum development for Strategic Management or Organization Theory subjects at undergraduate and graduate level.
• Demonstrated potential for research leading to peer‑reviewed publications.
• Demonstrated potential to contribute in service roles to the department, college, university, and community.
• Demonstrated commitment to working successfully with a diverse student population, including low socioeconomic and first‑generation students.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience teaching classes focused on strategic management or topics within organization theory.
• Expertise in case analysis and writing assessments for undergraduate programs; strategy-related teaching expertise considered.
• Strong research pipeline and publications under review in recognized journals in Strategy and Organization Theory fields.
• Experience working successfully with diverse student populations, including those from a range of demographic and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Experience mentoring or supporting students using inclusive and culturally relevant teaching strategies in a diverse classroom.

Duties

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses, primarily in strategic management and organization theory. Instruction may be in‑person, hybrid, online, or a combination.
• Engage in research, scholarly, and creative activities leading to conference presentations and publications.
• Participate in service to the department, college, university, and community.

Employment Requirements
