The Lloyd L. Gregory School of Pharmacy at Palm Beach Atlantic University invites applications for a full-time Assistant Professor ofPharmacology. The successful candidate will provide didactic instruction to Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) students throughout theacademic year, including the fall, spring, and summer semesters.In addition to teaching responsibilities, the faculty member will contribute to the professional and spiritual development of pharmacy studentsand actively support the mission of the School of Pharmacy and Palm Beach Atlantic University. Responsibilities include engaging inresearch and scholarly activity, participating in assigned School and University committees, and serving as a faculty advisor to pharmacystudents.The Lloyd L. Gregory School of Pharmacy provides a distinctive, holistic learning experience with opportunities for training both domesticallyand internationally and with Christian faith intentionally integrated throughout the curriculum. Palm Beach Atlantic University is acomprehensive Christian university whose mission is to equip students to grow in wisdom, lead with conviction, and serve God boldly, withan emphasis on moral, spiritual, and intellectual development.

EDUCATION:

A Ph.D. in Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a closely related discipline is required. Candidates must demonstrate the ability andpotential to engage in research and/or scholarly activity.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Demonstrated expertise in pharmaceutical sciences, with specific expertise in pharmacology.

Strong critical-thinking skills and the ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of educational and research teams.

Ability to organize complex scientific and professional content and develop instructional strategies that make the material accessible,understandable, and applicable to pharmacy practice.

Prior teaching experience at the collegiate or professional-school level is preferred.

Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and to service within the School, University, profession, and broader community.

Demonstrated commitment to the Christian faith and the ability to meaningfully integrate faith and learning into coursework andinteractions with students.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty, administrators,patients, and other healthcare professionals.

Proficiency with commonly used technology and software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as electronic,internet-based, and other educational and professional resources.
