Requirements

  • Deep expertise in human pluripotent stem cell culture, gene editing, directed differentiation into relevant endocrine cell tissues, and 3D organoid modeling
  • Broad understanding of diabetes pathogenesis with the idea of translating promising insights into treatments and potential cures for type 1 and type 2 diabetes
  • Applicants must have an earned doctoral degree (PhD and/or MD) and possess a record of scholarly accomplishments (high-impact publications, extramural funding, national recognition) commensurate to the Assistant Professor rank
