Position

Full-time, 10-month, Tenure-Track position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Accounting, beginning January 2027.

Teaching Responsibilities

Teach undergraduate and graduate-level courses, including tax and other areas of accounting.

Minimum Education

A Ph.D. in Accounting or related field from an AACSB-accredited institution by the time of appointment.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Eligible to meet ODU criteria for Scholarly Academic status
2. Demonstrated teaching experience in accounting

Preferred Qualifications

• Record of scholarly activity, including publications in high-quality, peer-reviewed journals.
• Teaching experience and interest in taxation and/or across multiple areas of accounting.
• Relevant professional or industry experience in taxation
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, etc.)
