The successful candidate will also provide strategic guidance to the Faculty Research function and supervise research staff.
Responsibilities
- Performs investigative research in the particular area(s) of study
- Publishes and presents data in a timely manner
- Works collaboratively with other investigators and scientists in facilitating scientific research
- Participates in various types of institute and community activities
- Provides strategic advice and guidance to the Faculty Research function
- Conducts independent research and/or development work
- Applies for grant funding and/or patents as appropriate
- Supervises research staff; provides technical direction to research staff
Compensation
- The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future
- Minimum Salary/Range: $91,400
- Maximum Salary/Range: $158,100

Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Science required
- Faculty appointment by the Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research Appointments and Promotions Committee required
- 10+ years of relevant experience required
- 2+ years of leadership / management experience required
