Essential Job Functions
- Conducts a requisite number of classes/Teaches assignedsubjects
- Provides guidance and supervision to students
- Creates and maintains an environment conducive to excellence inteaching, learning, and research
- Preparation and formulation of curricula focused on his/hersubject(s)
- Participates in departmental meetings and holds scheduledoffice hours
- Maintains equipment in the laboratory, makes arrangements forlaboratory practical sessions, and provides materials tostudents
- Provides academic support to other faculty members
- Serves on departmental and University committees, asassigned
- Coordinates (or assists with the coordination of) the SportsManagement Program
- Other related duties, as assigned
Qualifications
- Doctor of Philosophy in Health, Physical Education, Recreation,Sports Management, or related discipline
- Published works preferred
- Three (3) years' experience in higher education
