Assistant Professor in Architecture

Job Responsibilities

This is a full-time 9-month tenure-track appointment requiring residency in Atlanta, Georgia.

The responsibilities of the successful candidate include, but are not limited to the following:

• Contribute to requireddesignstudio teaching across the School of Architecture\’\’s degree programs (BS Arch and M Arch),including core architecture design studios
• Advance research in representation, drawings, and computational processes
• Contribute to teaching required coursesin Media + Modeling and elective courses aligned with researchand creative practice

This appointment is scheduled to begin in Fall 2027, with an anticipated start date of August 1, 2027.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must have a terminal degree of a Master of Architecture or greater. A doctoral degree is not required but is preferred. Professional licensure is desired but not required.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates should demonstrate expertise and a strong record of teaching, as well as demonstrated potential for public dissemination of creative practice and research.
