Assistant Professor, Clinical Faculty AppointmentThis is a faculty position responsible to the Chair of the Department of Anatomic Pathology, who reports to the Head of the Division of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine.To assume diagnostic patient care responsibilities by (a) serving as a surgical pathologist in subspecialty rotations(s), and (b) to develop and implement basic or clinical and translational research in the subspecialty field of surgical pathology appropriate for faculty rank.This position has a target base salary of $251,093 to $292,708 and is eligible for incentive compensation, comprehensive health, wellness, time off, savings, and retirement benefits, as well as relocation support, as applicable.Qualifications:• MD or DO degree in a field appropriate to department mission• Licensed to practice in Texas• Must be Board certified (or obtained within departmental timeline), unless exempted• Current cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
