Assistant Professor, 19th-Century U.S. Lit & Queer Theory

The Department of English at the University of Nevada, Reno invites applications for an Assistant Professor of U.S. literature from the nineteenth century with a desired secondary area in Queer Theory to begin on July 1, 2027. The candidate should be prepared to teach and advise on texts from the nineteenth into the twentieth century.

Applicants should have a robust research agenda and demonstrated teaching in 19th century U.S. literature and Queer Theory.
