Assistant Production SupervisorThe Production Supervisor Assistant supports the Production Supervisor in coordinating daily manufacturing operations, maintaining production flow, and ensuring that quality, safety, efficiency, and delivery requirements are met. This position assists with employee coordination, production tracking, material and equipment needs, and communication between production and other departments. The Production Supervisor Assistant serves as a key support resource to the production team and helps ensure that established procedures, work instructions, safety requirements, and company standards are consistently followed.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform assigned duties in accordance with documented procedures, work instructions, and company policiesAssist the Production Supervisor with daily production activities and prioritiesSupport a safe, organized, and productive manufacturing environmentCommunicate production concerns, delays, and operational issues to the Production SupervisorAssist in ensuring wastewater system operations comply with Mass DEP permit guidelinesSupport daily operations including start-up and shut-down proceduresDocument system changes, chemical dosing, set-point adjustments, maintenance activities, and operational issuesHelp track production progress and identify potential delays or bottlenecksAssist with coordinating rework orders and production prioritiesHelp maintain accurate production records and documentationAssist with monitoring production flow and identifying operational issuesSupport the Production Supervisor with equipment, chemical, and production-related activitiesAssist with coordinating equipment maintenance and chemical changes as directedMonitor production areas for proper workflow, organization, and adherence to proceduresAssist with waste handling and disposal activities in accordance with established proceduresAssist with training and onboarding new employees on production procedures, work instructions, and safety requirementsCommunicate employee questions, concerns, attendance issues, and performance-related matters to the Production SupervisorCommunicate production updates and issues to the Production Supervisor and appropriate departmentsAssist with communication between Production, Sales, Engineering, Quality, and other departmentsHelp coordinate the resolution of production-related issuesSupport new product introduction and production readiness activities as directedProvide information and production status updates when requestedEducationHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredAssociate's degree or technical training preferredPrior manufacturing or production experience preferredPrevious lead, team lead, or supervisory experience preferredExperience in PCB, electroplating, photo-chemical etching, metal processing, or a related manufacturing environment strongly preferredWorking knowledge of manufacturing processes and production operationsUnderstanding of workplace safety and chemical handling proceduresAbility to read and follow work orders, production instructions, and proceduresBasic understanding of production planning and schedulingStrong teamwork and leadership skillsEqual Opportunity Employer: Disability/VeteranITAR RequirementsThis position may include access to information that is subject to U.S.
