Assistant Production ManagerWe are currently searching for an Assistant Production Manager in the Little Rock area to oversee surface and underground operations. Please reach out to us to learn more if you are interested in an opportunity with an organization that puts its people first.ResponsibilitiesEstablish and uphold a culture that prioritizes safety as the topmost concern across all locations.Design operational schedules to meet sales demand efficiently while optimizing equipment utilization.Direct oversight and support for 4 operating mining facilities and their managers.Create and maintain a culture in which safety is always #1Prepare & implement mine plans at all locations to maximize reserve life and minimize overall production cost.Review and assist in scheduling maintenance of equipment and/or plants to insure maximum production capabilities with high availability.Research and develop new ways to cut costs and improve production.Ensure compliance with corporate policies and objectives, including safety, personnel, insurance.Prepare reports on production, client, budgets, etc.

for use in corporate business planning.Maintain internal relationships with sales personnel, quality personnel, safety and environmental staff, managers of other operating units and accounting personnel.Maintain external relationships with vendors, governmental agencies, outside salesmen, and customers.Assist in identifying capital needs and budgetingFoster a culture of continuous operations improvement.RequirementsPreferred: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as mining engineering, geological engineering, or a related discipline, although not mandatory.4+ years in overseeing and managing operations and/or engineering, along with significant involvement in aggregate processing techniques and surface quarrying.3+ years in a supervisory capacity, primarily focused on personnel management and supervision.Crucial skills: Proficiency in effective communication and exceptional leadership abilities are indispensable.Proficiency in fundamental surveying and mapping techniquesDemonstrated history of maintaining a proven record of occupational safety and ensuring strict adherence to MSHA safety standards.Familiarity with AggQC and AggFlow software tools is considered an advantage.Basic understanding of profit and loss statements and an understanding of accounting principlesSoftware proficiency: Excellent command of Microsoft Office suite with the ability to swiftly adapt to various software applications.Capability to foster strong leadership capabilities at all organizational levels.Thorough awareness of environmental regulations, standards, and best practices.
