This is your opportunity to join a global technology company, driving energy innovation for a balanced planet.What's In It For YouOpportunity to join a global technology company driving energy innovation for a balanced planet.Opportunity for career growth and continuous development.Thrive in a company that values safety, innovation, and operational excellence.Comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company matching, and more!What You Will DoPackaging and ProductionOperate packaging equipment including fill lines, pumps, valves, cappers, torque tools, scales, and labelers.Package materials in accordance with batch instructions and production schedules.Perform in process checks including quality samples for testing, weights, seals, fill accuracy, and container integrity.Prepare drums, totes, and other containers for filling, labeling, and shipment.Assist with equipment startups, shutdowns, changeovers, and minor troubleshooting.Complete accurate electronic and paper production and packaging records.Assist with hose line ups for transferring materials to and from tanks or vessels.Safety, Health, and Environmental ComplianceFollow all site safety procedures including PPE, Lockout/Tagout, confined space, and hazard communication.Handle and transfer chemicals safely in accordance with SDSs and site standard operating procedures.Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, ISO, and internal environmental programs.Report hazards, near misses, spills, or equipment issues immediately.Participate in required safety training, meetings, and observations.Material Handling and LogisticsOperate forklifts, pallet jacks, and drum/tote handling equipment.Load and unload packaged goods and raw materials following site protocols.Label, placard, and stage finished products according to regulatory requirements.Support inventory counts, material identification, and documentation accuracy.Housekeeping and Equipment CareMaintain a clean and organized work area following 5S and housekeeping standards.Perform basic cleaning and routine preventive maintenance on packaging equipment.Participate in shift handovers, inspections, and audit preparation activities.Pre-Employment RequirementsMust pass all pre-employment requirements as applicable.Position DetailsLocation: Freeport, Texas.Work schedule may include rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and overtime as required.Work is performed in a chemical manufacturing environment.Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED.Ability to work safely around chemicals and operate industrial equipment.Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.Ability to wear required PPE including respirators and fall protection.Ability to read, write, and follow detailed procedures in English.Willingness to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and overtime.One year of manufacturing or industrial experience.Physical DemandsRole is deemed safety-sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing.Preferred QualificationsForklift certification or experience operating forklifts.Experience with chemical packaging, pumps, valves, drums, and totes.Experience with SAP or similar production/inventory systems.Familiarity with ISO, GMP, or Responsible Care programs.Working ConditionsWork performed in a chemical manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, heat, humidity, fumes, and moving equipment.Required use of PPE including safety glasses, gloves, hard hats, and respirators as needed.Work may involve climbing stairs, maneuvering heavy containers, and handling hazardous materials.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.Ability to wear respiratory protection and other PPE as required.About Us:ChampionX is now part of SLB, a global technology company driving energy innovation for a balanced planet.
