Position Overview
The Assistant Controller will directly support the Controller with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, month-end closing and operational analysis. This position partners with leadership to provide financial insights, improve business performance, and support key decision-making initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Prepare forecasts, annual budgets, and financial projections.
- Produce monthly financial reports, KPI dashboards, and variance analyses.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
- Analyze inventory, reserves, and financial risks.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain financial controls.
- Manage fixed assets and support lease accounting compliance.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational and financial performance.
- Support ad hoc reporting and special projects.
Qualifications Desired
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 5+ years of accounting and financial analysis experience.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
- Manufacturing experience.
- ERP system experience.
- CMA, CPA, FPAC, or similar professional certification
