Position Overview

Assistant or Associate Professor in Residence (CRNA Specialized Faculty) – 50% full‑time equivalent, 12‑month, 3‑semester appointment at UNLV School of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Teach nursing courses consistent with your area of expertise, including CRNA‑specific didactic and clinical/simulation courses.
• Collaborate with faculty on course development and curriculum design.
• Utilize web‑based teaching resources such as WebCampus/Canvas to foster student learning.
• Provide student supervision and mentorship.
• Participate in school, university, professional, and community service activities.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications :

• Doctorate in nursing or a related field from an accredited institution.
• NV RN license or eligibility to obtain one; must be a CRNA and obtain a Nevada CRNA license upon hire.
• Credentials to be obtained prior to employment.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in academic and/or clinical teaching.

Employment Information
