Dining Facility Manager PositionJob Type: Full-Time / Contract PositionWork Schedule: Rotating shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency feeding operations. Normal dining facility operating coverage may include weekdays from approximately 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

and weekends and holidays from approximately 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with additional hours as needed for inspections and administrative duties.Place of Performance: NCO Academy Dining Facility, Building 6056 Schofield Barracks, HawaiiPeriod of Performance: Operations are anticipated to begin on December 1, 2026, following a phase-in period during November 2026. The contract may continue for up to five years, subject to contract award, task orders, and continued Government requirements.Summary: The Assistant or Alternate Dining Facility Manager will support the Dining Facility Manager in daily operations and assume full management responsibility when the primary manager is unavailable.Requirements:Previous supervisory or management experience in food serviceExperience in cafeteria, institutional, military, restaurant, or catering operationsKnowledge of meal production, sanitation, inventory, scheduling, and quality controlFood Protection Manager certification is preferredStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to supervise multiple food-service functionsAbility to obtain and maintain required installation accessMust be available for rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and emergency coverageDuties:Assist with daily dining facility managementSupervise assigned shifts and meal periodsVerify employee attendance and work assignmentsMonitor food preparation and serving-line readinessConduct food-safety and sanitation inspectionsResolve staffing, production, and customer-service concernsAssist with ordering, receiving, storage, and inventory controlReview employee performance and provide trainingMaintain operational logs, schedules, and reportsServe as acting manager when the primary manager is absentCoordinate corrective actions for identified deficienciesSupport emergency, remote-site, and special feeding requirements
