Partnering closely with clinicians and office leadership, you'll ensure patients understand their treatment options and feel supported every step of the way.Key ResponsibilitiesMeet one-on-one with patients to review treatment plans and recommendations provided by the clinical teamExplain treatment options, procedures, insurance benefits, and financial solutions in clear, compassionate languageBuild trust and patient confidence by addressing questions, concerns, and barriers to treatmentCreate and present customized payment and financing options tailored to individual patient needsUse consultative communication techniques to help patients make confident, informed decisions about their carePartner with doctors and team members to deliver a seamless, patient-first experienceTrack patient consultations, treatment acceptance, and follow-up activity using practice management and CRM toolsLeverage key performance metrics to improve patient outcomes and practice performanceSupport appointment scheduling, treatment coordination, insurance verification, and collections processesAssist in reinforcing daily office priorities and supporting the non-clinical team as neededEnsure all patient interactions align with company policies, government regulations, and dental board standardsQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred2+ years of experience in patient coordination, consultative sales, healthcare, customer service, retail sales, or a related field preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with patients of all backgroundsAbility to explain complex information in a simple, patient-friendly mannerComfort discussing insurance, financing, and payment optionsExcellent organizational and time-management skillsExperience with CRM, scheduling, or patient management systems preferredPatient-first attitude with empathy, professionalism, and active listening skillsCollaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environmentWhy You'll Love This RoleEvery day, you'll have the opportunity to sit down with patients, understand their goals, and help them take the next step toward improving their oral health and confidence.
