In conjunction with the Unit/Department Nursing Operations Manager, the ANOM provides guidance and direction on all aspects of unit operations including customer experience, budgetary performance, human resources activities, shared leadership, and quality outcomes.APH Surgery Department provides coverage for STAT NOW, urgent and emergent cases, including trauma cases 24/7.

Orlando Health Arnold Palmer is part of the Orlando Health system of care, which includes award-winning hospitals and ERs, specialty institutes, urgent care centers, primary care practices and outpatient facilities that span Florida's east to west coasts, Central Alabama and Puerto Rico.Responsibilities include shared 24/7 accountability with Nursing Operations Manager, participation in the recruitment and selection of new team members, coordination with the Unit/Department Nursing Operations Manager and Human Resources, oversight of schedules for the unit, maintenance of oversight of patient flow, performance of Nurse Leader rounds and reviews, ensuring the customer experience is upheld, interfacing with patients and families, participation and/or leadership in staff meetings, GEMBA board, or huddles, performing direct patient care activities as required, maintaining compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.Qualifications include Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree (BSN) required if no Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN). Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with Graduate degree in Business or health-related field preferred. Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Florida or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC). Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute setting.
