Role Overview:
This leadership position involves overseeing patient care, personnel management, equipment maintenance, and statistical tracking within a hospital setting. Responsibilities:
- Manage staff including hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, and conducting professional development.
- Participate in developing staffing, revenue, and expense budgets, ensuring adherence to financial goals.
- Oversee patient care delivery, ensuring interventions meet patients’ age and developmental needs, and document accordingly.
- Create and implement collaborative care plans based on assessments and medical treatments.
- Manage staff scheduling, payroll, and communication; handle staffing needs, overtime, and performance reviews.
- Ensure departmental operational goals are met, monitor staff productivity, and recommend improvements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: 2+ years in leadership; preferred 5-10 years with supervisory experience.
- Licenses & Certifications: RN required.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Team lead or charge experience and surgical background are a plus.
