Assistant Medical Director, Emergency Telepsychiatry

Northwell Health is seeking a full-time, Board Certified/Board Eligible Psychiatrist to serve as the overnight Assistant Medical Director for their Emergency Telepsychiatry Program in Manhattan, New York. This unique opportunity involves leading a multidisciplinary team at a state-of-the-art 24/7 Telehealth Hub, providing virtual emergency psychiatry services to Emergency Departments. Responsibilities

• Serve as the overnight physician leader at the Telepsychiatry Hub
• Lead an overnight multidisciplinary team of physicians, social workers, and logisticians
• Provide "Virtual" Emergency Psychiatry Service consulting to Emergency Departments
• Assess patients of all ages

Compensation

• Base compensation $330,000+
• Nationally competitive salaries

Shift & Schedule

• Clinical shifts are 830p-830a
• Average 10 shifts per month (Monday-Thursday)
• Position is 80% clinical (12hr overnight shifts)
• This position comes with 20% administrative/academic time

Requirements

• Position is 80% clinical (12hr overnight shifts), in person in Manhattan
• 2 years CPEP/Emergency Psychiatry experience required
• Must be BC/BE
• Must be licensed in NYS
• Superior computer and EHR skills
