Job Description
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Oversees all aspects of clinical and medical operations of the CBHC in Lawrence in conjunction with the Senior Director and BILH BS Ambulatory Medical Director.
- Provides direction for refinement of the model of care, provides overall clinical leadership and align clinical services with overall BILH BS strategic vision.
- Provides regular, ongoing clinical consultation to staff.
- Ensures supervision is provided to all Medical Staff including but not limited to Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners, Nursing Staff and Medical Assistants.
- Provides academic enrichment via lecture, didactics, or workshop.
- Provides and coordinates on-call medical consultation coverage.
- Provides medical leadership regarding policies/regulations.
- Provides Psychopharmacology on a scheduled and/or as needed basis.
- Completes progress notes and other documentation within 48 hours.
- Attends stakeholder meetings and leads meetings with CBHC Medical Staff.
- Adheres to HIPAA, SAMHSA, CARF, DMH, DPH, BSAS, and other applicable regulations.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Education
- MD designation. Current Massachusetts physician license, DEA registration, and Board certification with the Board of Psychiatry and Neurology for Adult and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Experience in CBHC settings preferred.
- Expertise in risk assessment, management, and documentation is necessary.
Physical & Mental Requirements
- While performing duties, the employee is regularly required to walk, sit, use hands, and talk or hear. Sitting or standing for long periods is required. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Requires close vision and ability to adjust focus.
Pay Range
$350,000.00 USD - $370,000.00 USD
The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation may be determined based on several factors, that may include education, training, relevant experience, specialty, geography of work location, productivity, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
- In addition to base compensation, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, which may include productivity and quality bonuses.
