Assistant Media BuyerPosition Overview: The Assistant Media Buyer will support the Investments team on each account from the start of negotiations to the final campaign wrap up. The successful candidate must also be a creative thinker, incorporating the latest media trends and innovations, including streaming video and online video. Candidate should exhibit a can-do attitude to tackle all assignments, exhibit the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks, and be a creative problem solver that participates and takes interest in the agency, the industry, and the success of our clients.
The Assistant Media Buyer will learn to deal effectively with clients and work closely with our planning group in managing budgets, developing strategies, negotiating media buys, and executing customized enhancements. It is imperative that this candidate follows technology and creative work to stay on top of pertinent information and trends.Responsibilities:Invoice maintenance, assisting Negotiators, Supervisors & Managers as assignedEntering programming and buys into our system, projecting TV and Radio ratings for future buysPulling market research and tracking delivery of steaming audio and video investments.Confirming and monitoring media orders with television and digital partnersConstruct post-buy analyses to determine actual delivery of the schedule.Manage budget summaries, campaign flowcharts, and billing.Create insertion orders, digital campaign detailed summaries.Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.Qualification - Required Skills:No agency experience requiredAbility to work on several projects at once.Excellent communication skills.Qualifications - Desired Skills:Internship or relevant coursework preferred.Bachelor's degree in business administration/marketing preferredWage and Benefits: We offer a Total Rewards package that includes medical and dental coverage, 401(k) plans, flex spending, life insurance, disability, employee discount program, employee stock purchase program and paid family benefits to support you and your family.
