Directly responsible for machine startups, shutdowns, clearing jams, making bottom stock splices, filling oil reservoirs, emptying scrap bins, sweeping, cleaning floors, and making minor machine adjustments.
This position is in the line of progression to move up to an Operator.ResponsibilitiesMaintains operation of feed bed by consistently feeding WIP on the conveyorsAble to feed 5-7 conveyors continuouslyChecks quality of WIP consistently and sorts out bad WIP. Notifies Operator of wrinkled stock, excessive offset or haze, ink spots, misregister, or excessive scrap.
