Our plants are hand-grown in carefully controlled environments designed to minimize unwanted chemicals and pests, keeping the cultivation process as natural as possible every step of the way.ROLE SUMMARYThe Assistant General Manager supports the General Manager in leadership and supervision of store personnel, inventory tracking and management, achieving key performance metrics and ensuring the efficient daily operations of the store. This role is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance while delivering exceptional customer experience.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPartner with the General Manager to plan and implement strategies to drive service standards and positive sales resultsMaintain brand standards in visual merchandisingEnsure consistent regulatory compliance with all state specific regulationsReview, communicate and ensure compliance with all company SOPs and work with the general manager and other leaders to assure that any changes are communicated to employeesAlong with the General Manager, provide coaching, training, and development to the team that is focused on company service standards and accountability to meet specific objectivesMonitor and maintain store inventoryResponsible for handling and resolving patient issues and escalations when on dutyMaintain professional working relationships with business partnersAssist the General Manager in managing labor budget to meet the needs of the businessMaintain strict confidentiality and compliancePerform other tasks that have been assigned by managementSKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONSTwo years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experiencePrior management experience, preferably in retail and/or customer service area is a plusMust have prior cash handling experienceMust possess the ability to train, develop and evaluate a team of 40+ employeesStrong interpersonal skills and professionalism to communicate with all levels of management and staff; ability to uphold a strict level of confidentiality and discretionAble to communicate in conversational English to work effectively with customers and team members, operate electronic equipment (computer, scanner, printer, etc.), comprehend safety procedures, and utilize telecommunication devicesProven ability to analyze data and draw appropriate conclusions to inform policies and proceduresAbility to interact with customers and team members respectfully and politelyADDITIONAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSMust possess a valid driver's license and pass an MVR background check (delivery locations only)Must be able to pass a level 1 and level 2 background checkMust be at least 21 years of ageMust function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agenciesMust be able to relate to and work with patrons of different ages, abilities, and patrons that at times are experiencing emotional distress, or displaying a hostile attitudePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is:Constantly required to move/traverse throughout entire facility, including tight spacesAccurately communicate and exchange sensitive information and ideas with others, including members of the public; observe/inspect details at varying ranges; operate computing devicesFrequently required to manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights (e.g., products, packaging, tools, office machinery): push/pull objects up to 50lbs; lift/carry/position objects up to 50 lbs.; ascend/descend stool/ladder/steps; position self and/or objects at floor level (e.g., crouch, stoop, kneel, crawl)Must have visual and auditory acuity with or without aids to perform all functions of the positionOccasionally required to remain in a seated positionWORK SCHEDULE40-45 hours weekly with flexible hours depending on store needs.
