Position Overview

The Assistant General Manager supports the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring excellence in service, compliance, and team development. Serving as second in command, the Assistant General Manager executes established standards, leads the floor during service, and steps into the responsibilities of the General Manager in their absence. This role requires a hands-on leader with broad hospitality experience, strong proficiency across dining, guest services, events, and beverage

operations, and the ability to translate direction into consistent day-to-day results.

High Level Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in leading and directing the front and back of house team
• Assist in managing daily operations and monitoring business financials
• Recruit, onboard, and train new hires on Company practices and service standards
• Support the development and ongoing training of employees
• Uphold the quality and consistency of work and service
• Contribute to continuous improvement on the floor and through administrative support
• Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues with professionalism and urgency
• Champion an environment of hospitality throughout the operation at all levels
• Open and close the restaurant according to established procedures and protocols
• Oversee the restaurant floor during service as manager on duty
• Ensure dining room readiness and cleanliness prior to and after each service
• Assume the responsibilities of the General Manager in their absence

Physical Requirements

The Assistant General Manager must be able to perform the essential functions of this position, with or without reasonable accommodation. These functions generally include standing and walking for extended periods, moving throughout the restaurant during service, lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds, and working in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

The annual salary range for this position is $85,000 to $95,000+, with final compensation based on prior experience and qualifications.
