Ensign Wholesale Flower Market PositionEnsign Wholesale Flower Market is seeking a highly capable, detail-oriented professional to support our General Manager and Fresh Flower Buyer.This is not a traditional administrative role —it is a hands-on operational position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced wholesale environment, enjoys solving problems, and wants to grow into a larger leadership role over time.You will work directly with leadership, vendors, and internal teams to help drive purchasing, logistics, and execution during both daily operations and peak seasons.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport day-to-day operations and key business initiativesMaintain organized systems, track priorities, and ensure follow-throughAssist with purchase order entry, tracking, and reconciliationCommunicate with flower buyers, farms, vendors, and suppliersCoordinate inbound shipments, including AWBs and vendor/farm invoicesManage email communication and vendor follow-upsAssist in planning and execution for peak seasons (Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, weddings, etc.)Help drive accountability and execution on growth initiativesQualifications2+ years experience in administrative, purchasing, or operations supportStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general systems/toolsHighly detail-oriented with strong organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentProactive problem solver with strong ownership and follow-throughExperience leading or managing people (directly or indirectly) preferredExperience in wholesale, floral, logistics, or distribution environments preferredBasic understanding of inventory management and purchasing processesWhat We're Looking ForCalm and composed under pressureSystems-oriented thinker who can bring structure to complexityStrong work ethic and accountabilityGrowth mindset with a desire to take on increasing responsibilityTeam-oriented and committed to long-term successCompensation & BenefitsHourly wage + performance-based commissionCompensation based on experience and industry knowledgePaid time offMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) plan
