Location: Chicago & Surrounding Suburbs
Compensation: $70,000–$80,000 + Bonus Potential + Benefits

A successful and growing restaurant concept is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager (AGM) to join its leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate restaurant leader who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment and enjoys building teams, driving service standards, and creating exceptional dining experiences.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on restaurant operator who can support the General Manager in all aspects of daily operations, lead front-of-house execution, develop team members, and help drive overall restaurant success.

• Support the General Manager with daily restaurant operations and service execution
• Lead, coach, and develop front-of-house team members to deliver outstanding hospitality
• Maintain a strong presence on the floor and ensure a consistent guest experience
• Assist with scheduling, labor management, and operational planning
• Support hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing team development
• Monitor guest satisfaction and proactively address service opportunities
• Assist with inventory management, cost controls, and financial goals
• Partner with restaurant leadership to improve sales, profitability, and operational execution
• Ensure compliance with company standards, safety guidelines, and service expectations
• Lead by example during high-volume service periods

• Previous Assistant General Manager, Restaurant Manager, or similar leadership experience
• Strong background in full-service, upscale casual, or high-volume restaurant operations
• Bar/lounge experience is a plus
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop restaurant teams
• Strong understanding of restaurant operations, labor management, and financial performance
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus
