Assistant General Manager – BelAir CantinaAre you an experienced restaurant leader who's ready to take the next step in your career?We're looking for an Assistant General Manager who can help lead a high-performing team, deliver an outstanding guest experience, and support the overall success of the restaurant. This is a hands-on leadership role with meaningful responsibility and the opportunity to continue developing toward a General Manager position.What You'll DoWorking closely with the General Manager, you'll help oversee daily restaurant operations, including:Leading, coaching, and developing managers and hourly team membersServing as the restaurant's leader when the General Manager is unavailableCreating a positive, respectful, and accountable workplace cultureEnsuring exceptional hospitality and consistent food and beverage qualitySupporting recruiting, onboarding, training, scheduling, and team member retentionHelping manage labor, food costs, inventory, sales, and restaurant performanceMaintaining restaurant cleanliness, safety, licensing, and operational complianceResolving guest concerns promptly and professionallyConducting effective pre-shift meetings and communicating daily prioritiesHolding team members accountable to company policies and performance expectationsAssisting with opening, closing, cash-handling, and administrative responsibilitiesSupporting other company locations when occasional business needs ariseWhat We're Looking ForOur ideal candidate is a dependable and approachable leader who communicates clearly, leads by example, and is ready to take ownership of restaurant results.Qualifications include:At least two years of restaurant management experiencePrevious experience as an Assistant General Manager, Restaurant Manager, or similar leader preferredStrong leadership, coaching, and team-development skillsWorking knowledge of scheduling, labor management, inventory, and cost controlsExcellent organization, communication, and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to remain composed and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environmentHigh school diploma or equivalentMust be at least 21 years oldReliable transportationBilingual skills are a plusA current Wisconsin Food Manager Certification and local operator's license are preferred.
