Our client, a global financial services company, is looking for an Assistant General Counsel to join their New York office. The ideal candidate will have 6 years of legal experience at a law firm or comparable in-house role.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal support for a portfolio of bilateral commercial real estate lending transactions.
- Advise business teams throughout the lifecycle of mortgage and construction loans from origination through closing, servicing, and workout.
- Assist the General Counsel and other attorneys in handling overall activities of the Legal Department, including supervising support staff.
Compensation
Base annual salary is expected to start at $230,000 to $270,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
