Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Assistant Fund Controllerto join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $115,000 to $135,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:

Support fund accounting and financial reporting activities, including quarter end and year end close processes.

Review reconciliations, financial schedules, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Assist with investor reporting, cash management activities, capital transactions, and related fund operations.

Coordinate with auditors, administrators, tax professionals, and internal stakeholders to support ongoing business requirements.

Participate in process improvement initiatives, financial analyses, and special projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

4+ years of accounting experience, preferably within financial services, investment management, or a related industry.

Strong understanding of financial reporting, account reconciliations, and close processes.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with complex financial data.

Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines in a fast paced environment.

Qualifications:

Previous public accounting experience.

CPA credential preferred.

Prior experience with fund accounting, private equity, asset management, alternative investments, or institutional investment structures.

Familiarity with multi entity, multi currency, or international reporting environments.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal and external teams.
