Assistant Financial Planner/CFPOne of Boston's top RIA's is hiring for an Assistant Financial Planner as an add-to-staff, growth position. This firm has tripled in size over recent year (both organic growth, as well as through acquisitions). This role will be responsible for Client Relationship Management, Financial Planning, as well as partnership with key internal team members (Legal, Compliance, Operations, Accounting).Cultural fit is extremely important - this team is dynamic, vibrant, humble, intelligent, and operates as a cohesive unit.Compensation / Benefits:Strong base payAnnual Bonus401k matchOpportunities for growth, promotion, & professional developmentFantastic team & a dynamic environmentGreat company benefits & perksKey Responsibilities:Work closely with Portfolio Managers/Leadership to develop tailored financial plans for clientsInvestigate and uncover clients' wealth planning needs, goals, and issues through detailed data and information gathering processBuild relationships with clients through authentic support and guidanceComplete financial plans, investment reports, tax and estate analysisLiaise with product providers to obtain quotes, projections, and product informationCoordinate cross functionally for relevant information (Legal, Compliance, Operations, Accounting)Gather, input, and analyze client data to develop tailored recommendationsPerform scenario modeling, stress testing, and asset allocation analysisAssist in the ongoing maintenance and updates of existing financial plans to ensure they remain aligned with clients' goals and any changes in their circumstancesPrepare and organize client-facing presentation materialsMonitor industry trends and regulatory changes to support compliant adviceSkills & Qualifications:2-10 years of experience in Wealth Management, FS Clients Services, or relatedBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or relatedCFP or CFP track requiredPositive, collaborative attitude/team-playerInterest in growth, and professional development within the firm
