This highly visible role partners directly with senior finance leadership to strengthen operations, solve complex financial challenges, and help Controllers implement smarter systems, controls, and processes.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Partner with Controllers to improve financial processes, controls, systems, and reporting
• Review operations and identify practical opportunities for improvement
• Support cash management, audits, governance, and recurring financial activities
• Lead special projects including acquisitions, due diligence, and systems implementations
• Travel to operating companies throughout the U.S. and Canada
  
  

About You

• CPA required
• Strong controllership, accounting, systems, and internal-controls expertise
• Consultative communicator who can influence rather than simply audit
• Manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or metals experience preferred
• Able to work onsite in Northbrook when not traveling
