Working alongside the Facility Manager, you'll help oversee the day-to-day operations of 100 state buildings, ensuring every detail—from maintenance coordination to vendor management—runs seamlessly. This position puts you at the heart of our facilities team, where you'll balance technical expertise with strong relationship-building skills to support our clients' operational goals.What your day-to-day will look like:Assist Facility Management Team with tactical planning for the team's goals and objectives.Provide facility specific assistance to the facility management team as needed or requested.Manage and maintain facility management tasks as assigned.Coordinate special events in support of client or JLL.Assist with the coordination and scheduling of maintenance activities.Provide general overall facility management services including continuous monitoring of office/facility.Act as an interface with client, visitors, and guests.Ensure appropriate follow up with customers.Assist with budgetary requests, analysis, and reporting.Ensure compliance with all health and safety, environment and risk management policies and procedures in conjunction with the area/site manager.Assist with researching, analyzing, and reporting budget variances.Actively support an environment of teamwork, cooperation, performance excellence, and personal success.Conduct scheduled property inspections and daily walkthroughs to ensure facilities meet requirements, including but not limited to janitorial, landscape, etc.Respond to all work orders in a timely manner, ensuring KPI compliance and excellent customer service.Provide information and direction to vendors, facilities staff and other service providers as required to ensure excellent coordination and execution of work, with minimal disruptionConducts quality assurance site visits with janitorial vendors.Assists team with property inspections.Performs additional job duties as requested.Required Qualifications:High School diploma or GED equivalent2+ years of experience in facility management, property management, or building operationsMust have the ability to learn and use a smartphone to retrieve work orders/emailExcellent internal and external customer service skills; exhibit a "team player" and "can do" attitudeStrong knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire/life safetyProven ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to time-sensitive situationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across diverse stakeholdersValid driver's license and ability to travel between multiple properties up to 30%Preferred Qualifications:Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office SuiteLocation: Nashville, TN (Hybrid; in-office and remote; 25 to 30% travel within the State of Tennessee)Work Environment:Regular/predictable on-site attendance and timeliness in order to support the needs of the team and the client.Proactively develop and manage client relationships ensuring that expected service levels are achieved.Comply with all requirements of the client contract and meet or exceed key performance indicators.Stand and walk for prolonged periods. Regularly lift, move and/or carry up to 10 pounds; frequently lift, move and/or carry up to 25 pounds; occasionally lift, move and/or carry up to 50 pounds.Communicate and work well with varying levels of staff, contractors/vendors and customers.Deliver an exceptional quality of service to the client, as reflected by client feedback.Daily use of CMMS (Corrigo a plus) for work order overall management.The ability to work occasional overtime and/or be on call.This position does not provide visa sponsorship.
